WATERCOLOR
I really love Canson paper. I like the weight and I find it easy to lift paint in case I make a mistake or want to lighten an area. I also love to paint acrylic on Canson watercolor paper. I usually buy the 9×12 size (I stay away from the spiral books because they are harder to take the paper out).
The Winsor Newton watercolors are a more professional set, but the Mei Lang are great for beginners. Both sets offer a bunch of colors and are great to mix.
Graphite paper is a great way to transfer an image to paper.
The brush set below has some of my favorite shaped brushes.
The bamboo frames are a winner. They come with glass up to size 16×20.
I also offer watercolors with mattes and sleeves. That size of 11×14 is great for the 9×12 paper. It is matted to 8×10.
