In numerology, 111 is often associated with new beginnings, alignment, and trusting that you are exactly where you are meant to be. A reminder to pay attention to the little signs along the way.
This painting is a little different from the rest of my Hidden Signs collection because the signs are already there, waiting to be discovered. A cardinal, a butterfly, a dragonfly, and a rainbow. Each one carrying its own meaning.
The dark background represents the difficult seasons we all experience. The blooms are a reminder of the beauty that can come afterward. I pulled paint through the composition to create the feeling of falling rain, because even flowers need a little rain to bloom.
Created with a combination of acrylic paint and acrylic markers, this original is finished in a beautiful gold frame.
I love the thought that sometimes the very things we wish we could avoid are the things that help us grow. And that even in our darkest seasons, there are little signs of hope all around us.
Maybe we just need to remember to look for them. ❤️
